Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger cuts short his post-match press conference in order to try to bring in some new players in the transfer market.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger shut down his post-match press conference against West Ham United in order to "do some work" in the transfer window.

The Gunners stormed to a 5-1 win over the Hammers in the Premier League on Wednesday, as an Olivier Giroud brace and goals from Lukas Podolski, Santi Cazorla and Theo Walcott all contributed to the thrashing at the Emirates Stadium.

The Frenchman is keen on improving his squad, having previously stated that he wants to bring in two players before the end of the month, and says that time is a factor in the window.

Asked whether there were any transfer updates, Wenger said: "No. That is why I have to shorten the press conference, because I have to do some work."

Arsenal travel to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
