Mario Gomez to leave Bayern Munich?

Bayern Munich forward Mario Gomez looks likely to leave the European champions in the summer, according to the player's agent.

Bayern Munich forward Mario Gomez is unlikely to remain at the club, according to the player's agent.

Gomez made just 21 appearances in the Bundesliga last season after losing his place in the side to Mario Mandzukic, and his agent Uli Ferber believes that the Germany international will leave the club in the summer.

Ferber told Kicker: "As far as I am concerned, the trend in the matter of Mario is definitely a transfer.

"He will be leaving Bayern Munich this summer."

The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to Napoli.
