Karl-Heinz Rummenigge refuses to rule out Thomas Muller exit

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge hints that Manchester United target Thomas Muller could be allowed to leave the European champions this summer.

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has hinted that Thomas Muller could be allowed to leave the European champions this summer.

The 24-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United in the last week or so, with prospective new boss Louis van Gaal a keen admirer of the German international.

It was initially claimed that the talk was pure speculation, but Rummenigge has hinted that the attacker could leave the Allianz Arena.

"Muller's situation? If a player does not feel well at Bayern Munich, he should come to my office. We will have to talk about things like that," Rummenigge told Bild.

Muller has a contract with Bayern until 2017.
