Striker Wes Thomas and defender David Edgar are reportedly close to joining Birmingham City on a free transfer.
Birmingham, who retained their Championship status on the final day of the season, are operating on a restricted budget at St Andrew's, but manager Lee Clark is reportedly edging nearer to strengthening his first-team squad.
According to the Birmingham Mail, Thomas, who played 11 games for the club on loan in 2013, will complete a permanent move to the Blues after rejecting a new contract at Rotherham United.
Edgar played 17 times for Burnley during their promotion campaign to the Premier League, but after being released by the Clarets, he is expected to link up with the West Midlands outfit.
