Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean signs two more Portuguese players, to bring the tally at Ewood Park to four.

Blackburn Rovers have completed the signings of Portuguese duo Paulo Jorge and Edinho.

The teenagers join fellow countrymen Fabio Nunes and Nuno Gomes in completing deals to play at Ewood Park this season.

Rovers boss Kean told the club's official website: "They are essentially for the future, but they have already shown themselves to have great quality. I fully expect them to be around and about the first team very soon indeed.

"Paulo Jorge is a midfield player who has looked comfortable in the middle of the park and Edinho is a young striker with good movement who looks very quick and very sharp.

"We have already seen what Fabio Nunes is all about in the opening friendlies. He plays wide left, enjoys going past people and has a great engine."

Blackburn will hope their Portuguese quartet will help them hit the ground running in their quest for promotion to the Premier League this season.

Rovers open their championship campaign against Ipswich Town on August 18.
