Neil Lennon vows to stay on as Bolton Wanderers boss

Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon says that he has no plans to leave the club, despite their poor form in the Championship.

Bolton Wanderers manager Neil Lennon has insisted that he has no plans to walk away from the club, despite their poor start to the Championship season.

The Trotters have gone nine games without a win and are third from bottom in the table following Tuesday night's 2-0 defeat to Ipswich Town.

Former Celtic boss Lennon took charge of Bolton in October 2014 but has won just 14 of his 55 games in charge.

"I'll never quit. People say managers lose the dressing room, but they've got to worry about losing me," Lennon told BBC Radio Manchester.

"I'm here to fight it out, if the people at the club or the fans want a change, that's something I can't control.

"I don't feel under any pressure, but with performances like that people will look at you and ask if you're doing enough, and that's the first question I ask myself after every game."

Bolton take on Bristol City at the Macron Stadium on Saturday.
