Bolton Wanderers suffered a setback during their pre-season preparations after losing to League Two side Morecambe this evening.

Stephen Dobbie had given the Championship side the lead after a low drive, but Aaron Wildig levelled for the hosts before the break.

Paul Mullin took advantage of a poor back-pass from Derik Osede to put Morecambe ahead four minutes into the second half.

Bolton then saw a Dobbie goal ruled out for offside, while Liam Feener also came close to finding an equaliser, but Morecambe held on to surprise the visitors.
