Borussia Dortmund have revealed that winger Jadon Sancho could miss the rest of February through injury.
On Friday night, the former Manchester City teenager suffered an issue with his ankle during the victory over FC Koln and it now appears that the youngster's development will be temporarily halted.
A statement read: "Borussia Dortmund will be without Jadon Sancho for several weeks.
"An MRI examination conducted in Dortmund on Monday revealed that the 17-year-old forward had suffered a ligament injury in Friday evening's Bundesliga match away to 1. FC Koln."
Despite being just 17, Sancho has started to establish himself in the first-team squad at the Westfalenstadion, making three starts and one substitute appearance in the Bundesliga since the start of 2018.
Earlier in the campaign, the wideman also came off the bench to feature against Bayern Munich.
