Marco Reus delighted with Ruhr derby display

Marco Reus believes that Borussia Dortmund will not experience a better feeling this season than beating Schalke 3-0.

Marco Reus has claimed that Borussia Dortmund produced their performance of the season by beating Schalke 04 3-0 in the Ruhr derby at Signal Iduna Park.

Jurgen Klopp's side dominated for long spells before scoring three times in the closing stages to secure the points, and Reus praised his team's persistence after missing a number of good chances.

"There won't be a better feeling than this all season. It was the game of the year for us and for the fans. We really deserved to win and were the better team throughout the match," the German told reporters.

"We kept at it and got the outcome we wanted today, and we're obviously delighted to have won."

Dortmund have now won four successive Bundesliga games for the first time this season.
