Agent: 'Borussia Dortmund want Seydou Doumbia'

Borussia Dortmund want to sign CSKA Moscow striker Seydou Doumbia, according to his agent.

The agent of CSKA Moscow striker Seydou Doumbia has claimed that Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing the 26-year-old.

Dortmund are currently in the market for at least one new forward, with Robert Lewandowski due to leave for Bayern Munich at the end of the season.

Doumbia has been widely linked with a move in the last couple of weeks and Jean Bernard Beytrison has revealed that his client would be interested in joining the Bundesliga side.

"Seydou has heard about Dortmund's interest and is happy about it," the striker's representative told Sport Bild.

"If he were to leave CSKA Moscow, it would only be for one of the biggest clubs in the world. Borussia Dortmund are definitely among the top teams. We are happy to open talks if they make an approach."

Doumbia's contract with CSKA is due to expire in 2015.
