Eddie Howe "frustrated" by Burnley draw

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe declares that he was left frustrated by his side's draw with Burnley in the Championship.

Eddie Howe has declared that he was left frustrated following Bournemouth's home draw with promotion-chasing Burnley in the Championship.

The Cherries led through Tokelo Rantie's goal shortly after half time, but substitute Keith Treacy levelled the contest for the visitors.

"I felt we had the majority of the chances," Howe told the club's official website. "I think we had the best moments of the game. We got the goal and you did hope we could catch them hunting an equaliser, but their goal has come out of nothing.

"I don't think we really switched off, it was just one of those things. I felt we defended well and I could see the game finishing 1-0, and everyone patting everyone on the back saying what a great performance and a great defensive performance we had put in, because it was.

"It was a game of few chances and we are frustrated as we felt we should have won it."

Next up for Bournemouth is a visit to Derby County.
