Preview: Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Blackburn Rovers

Sports Mole looks ahead to this weekend's Championship encounter between Brighton & Hove Albion and Blackburn Rovers.

Brighton & Hove Albion could leapfrog Blackburn Rovers in the Championship table if they secure a victory over their opponents this weekend.

The Seagulls have not lost a fixture in their last three encounters, with a 3-1 win over Doncaster Rovers being their latest result in the league.

The home side could move up from 12th place into the top 10, but if the visitors manage to grab maximum points, they can put pressure on the playoff places.

Blackburn managed to get back to winning ways by nabbing a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough last weekend following a lacklustre period in the league.

In the two times that these clubs have met in recent seasons, they have seen out a 1-1 draw both at the Amex and Ewood Park.
