Brighton comfortably beat Bristol City

Goals from Dean Hammond and Andrea Orlandi give Brighton & Hove Albion a 2-0 win over Bristol City in the Championship clash.

Brighton & Hove Albion secured all three points in a well deserved 2-0 win over Bristol City at The Amex this evening.

After five minutes, the Seagulls took the lead through a strike from Dean Hammond.

Bristol struggled to have any impact on the game as the home side dominated proceedings.

Brighton then deservedly made it 2-0 on 25 minutes, with Andrea Orlandi grabbing the second goal from a free kick.

Bristol came close to pulling a goal back on 40 minutes, though Gordon Greer was on hand to clear Neil Danns' shot off the line.

Orlandi showed great skill and vision to create an opening for Craig Mackail-Smith in the second half, though his effort was deflected wide.

The final whistle blew on a comfortable 2-0 victory for Brighton.
