Eden Hazard: 'I have never played so bad'

Eden Hazard admits that he is miffed by his Chelsea form and concedes that he cannot remember ever being in such a rut.

Out-of-form Chelsea ace Eden Hazard has admitted that he is at a loss to explain his low-key performances this season, just months after winning double Player of the Year awards.

The Belgian schemer played a big role in helping the Blues to Premier League glory last term, culminating in PFA and FWA Player of the Season titles, but he has struggled to scale those same heights so far, failing to score in 11 outings.

"This perhaps the most difficult period of my career. There are always ups and downs. I'm not certain what the problem is," the 24-year-old told reporters.

"But we have to keep working hard to improve. It's always good to spend time with the national team, and even more so when things aren't going well for your club.

"I know I can do better. I have to be able to help the team win."

The West Londoners sit 16th in the table after winning just eight points from a possible 24 so far.
