Alan Shearer: 'Chelsea's Diego Costa is the real deal'

Chelsea forward Diego Costa earns the praise of Premier League legend and former striker Alan Shearer following his match-winning hat-trick against Swansea City.

Chelsea forward Diego Costa is looking the "real deal" after scoring a hat-trick to help lift Chelsea to victory over Swansea City, according to Premier League great Alan Shearer.

The Blues frontman was pivotal in Chelsea's 4-2 home victory, as he scored three goals to ensure that Jose Mourinho's men came from a goal down to earn maximum points at Stamford Bridge.

"Everything impressed me about Diego Costa today, he is tailor-made for the Premier League," former Newcastle United striker Shearer told BBC Sport.

"The way he runs the line, in behind and can hold the ball up. He is going to love the Premier League and the Chelsea fans will love him

"He is looking the real deal. When it is not going as it should for them they have a goalscorer who can get them out of it."

The win sees Chelsea sitting in top spot in the Premier League table with a 100% record after four games.
