Result: Coventry City 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Steve Cotterill's reign at Nottingham Forest begins with defeat at Coventry City with Lukas Jutkiewicz scoring the only goal of the game.

Steve Cotterill's first game as Nottingham Forest manager got off to a losing start as they were narrowly edged out by Coventry at the Ricoh Arena this afternoon.

The only goal of the game came 12 minutes into the second half when striker Lukas Jutkiewicz headed in Cyrus Christie's cross.

Forest couldn't pull back an equaliser despite ten minutes of injury time because of a serious injury to Coventry keeper Joe Murphy, who was taken to hospital in an ambulance.

Cotterill's side drop into the bottom three while Coventry jump out of the relegation zone to 18th.
