Tony Pulis rules out return to Crystal Palace

Tony Pulis rules out a return to Crystal Palace after bookmakers name him third favourite for the job he recently vacated.

Tony Pulis has laughed off speculation linking him with a return to Crystal Palace just days after he walked out of Selhurst Park.

The ex-Eagles boss has been made third favourite with bookmakers to replace himself, but the Welshman has ruled out a return to the club.

Asked whether returning was a possibility, Pulis told beIN Sports: "No, no. No chance.

"Having spent the whole pre-season working with the players – going to Austria, America and Germany – to prepare everything for the new season and not to get started with them is a little a disappointing.

"But a situation arose where we amicably came to an agreement, and I'm here with you instead."

Pulis led Palace to safety last season, having arrived in November with the Eagles having taken only four points from their opening 11 matches.
