Despite Fabio Capello insistence that he is to leave the England job next summer, the FA confirms that the replacement process is yet to start.

The Football Association are yet to begin the search to find a replacement for England manager Fabio Capello, chairman David Bernstein has confirmed.

The Italian boss has made it known that he intends to step down from the position at the conclusion of his side's European Championships campaign in Ukraine and Poland next summer.

Despite having less than a year to identify the new man for the job, Bernstein has revealed that it is not something the FA are currently considering.

"It is not something on our agenda at the moment," Berstein told the Leaders in Football conference earlier today. "We are completely behind Fabio. You cannot be half-pregnant with these things."

Capello's squad are currently preparing for a match in Montenegro on Friday evening.
