Everton boss David Moyes admits that he would like to coach abroad one day, with Germany his preferred choice.

Everton boss David Moyes has revealed that his ambition is to coach abroad once his time at Goodison Park is over.

The Scottish manager admitted that he would like to work in Germany, claiming that he is "fascinated" by the country's football.

The 49-year-old has been with the Toffees since 2002, but pointed towards Borussia Dortmund's performance against Manchester City in the Champions League as one of the reasons why Germany is so attractive to him.

"I always had the hope of being a coach abroad," said Moyes in an interview with France Football.

"If I had the choice I would probably go to Germany. In part because of the mentality, which is similar to mine. I'm also fascinated by what happens in German football. They seem to have found a way of producing young players.

"Look at Borussia Dortmund. I saw them against Manchester City this season. They were fantastic. They put this incredible intensity on their opponents to break the tempo. It adds a new tactical level."

Moyes has led Everton to sixth place in the Premier League so far this season.
