Midfielder Leon Osman reportedly agrees a new two-year contract with Everton.

Everton midfielder Leon Osman has reportedly agreed to put pen to paper on a fresh contract at the Merseyside club.

The 32-year-old, who had 12 months remaining on his deal, has been expected to agree new terms at Goodison Park following a lengthy stint that started in 1997, when he joined the club's youth set-up.

Following months of negotiations between the club and Osman's representatives, the midfielder has agreed to pen a two-year contract, according to the Liverpool Daily Post.

Osman's commitment comes despite the club having yet to appoint a successor to manager David Moyes.
