Defender Elliott Hewitt has been recalled from his loan at Colchester United by parent club Ipswich Town.
Ipswich feel that the 20-year-old Welshman could be a useful squad member for the seven remaining games of the season, especially with Tyrone Mings suspended for the next two over Easter weekend against Bournemouth and Huddersfield Town.
"We hoped we would have Elliott for the remainder of the season but Ipswich have taken him back for their run-in," Colchester boss Tony Humes told the club website.
"He's done a great job in a couple of positions for us and we wish him well for the future."
Hewitt started Ipswich's first three games of the season but has since played mostly for Colchester in League One, making a total of 24 appearances and scoring one goal for the U's.
