How Juventus could line up against Atalanta BC

Sports Mole looks at how Juventus could line up in Sunday's Serie A clash with Atalanta BC.

Juventus will be looking to return to winning ways in Serie A when they welcome top-four hopefuls Atalanta BC on the penultimate weekend of the 2018-19 campaign.

Juve have not really needed to break a sweat in claiming their eighth straight Serie A title, but the champions have not won since April 20 and will enter the match off the back of a 2-0 loss at Roma.

Atalanta, meanwhile, are enjoying a brilliant season of their own, currently occupying fourth spot in the table.

Juve will enter this match fresh from the news that Massimiliano Allegri will not be in charge of the team next term. It will therefore be a special occasion at the Juventus Stadium for a number of reasons.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at how the Old Lady could line up on home soil.

POSS JUVE XI vs. ATA

Out: Mattia Perin (shoulder), Douglas Costa (hamstring), Sami Khedira (knee), Giorgio Chiellini (calf)
Doubtful: Leonardo Bonucci (ankle), Daniele Rugani (inflammation), Mario Mandzukic (knee)

Juve have been hit with the news that Giorgio Chiellini will miss Sunday's match with a calf problem, potentially giving Allegri a selection issue in central defence.

Leonardo Bonucci missed out against Roma with an ankle problem, while Daniele Rugani is still struggling with an inflammation issue. Martin Caceres is likely to keep his spot at the back, with Bonucci potentially shaking off his injury to feature.

Douglas Costa and Sami Khedira are still out with hamstring and knee injuries respectively, though, while Mattia Perin remains on the sidelines with a shoulder problem.

Mario Mandzukic could overcome a knee injury to feature, although it is thought that Paulo Dybala will once again join Cristiano Ronaldo in the final third, with Federico Bernardeschi taking the other spot.

Joao Cancelo and Alex Sandro could also start in the full-back positions having both come off the bench in the defeat to Roma last time out.
