Giorgio Chiellini expecting Juventus response against Roma

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini backs his team to return to winning ways when they face title rivals Roma this weekend.

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has backed his team to respond positively to their defeat against Atletico Madrid when they face Roma this weekend.

The Old Lady were beaten 1-0 in Spain on Wednesday night as their Champions League campaign suffered a setback.

However, ahead of the visit of rivals Roma in Serie A on Sunday, Chiellini is hopeful that Juve can return to winning ways.

"I think our strength is always to evaluate the positives and negatives from a game in order to face our next encounter in the best possible way. We are ready to face Roma," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"It will be a different game with respect to our match against Atletico because they play a different style of football. We want to do well against them knowing we face a very difficult match."

Juventus are currently at the top of the Serie A table, ahead of Roma on goal difference.
