Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has predicted that Jamie Vardy will score a goal in the Champions League fixture against FC Copenhagen.
Vardy has failed to score in his last 11 games for club and country, and his goal drought comes less than a year after he netted in 11 successive matches in the Premier League.
Despite not getting on the scoresheet since September 10, Ranieri thinks that Vardy will end his wait for a goal on Wednesday night.
The Italian is quoted by ITV Sport as saying: "Last year he scored 11 in a row. Now he hasn't scored in 11? It's over, he scores [tomorrow]. I like the numbers."
Vardy finished as the club's top goalscorer last season with 24 goals.
