Nigel Pearson bemoans costly Leicester City errors

Nigel Pearson admits that his Leicester City players made life difficult for themselves in this evening's 2-0 defeat away to Swansea City in the Premier League

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has admitted that his side failed to give a true account of themselves in their defeat against Swansea City this evening.

The Foxes lost 2-0 at the Liberty Stadium to see their winless run stretch to four games and drop down to 16th place in the Premier League table.

"We didn't manage the ball well enough, and didn't give ourselves the best chance to win the game," Pearson is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"We weren't positive and made too many unforced errors. We had some pace out there today, but unless you utilise your own possession, it makes it very difficult to maximise those players' strengths.

"We huffed and puffed but without the quality we've shown in other games. The way we've played so far this season, I know we're better than what we've shown today."

Leicester have the chance to bounce back from this disappointment when they host West Bromwich Albion next weekend.
