Jurgen Klopp is delighted with the "really good" form shown by Mohamed Salah since arriving at Liverpool, but claims that the former Roma forward is not "unplayable".

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has dismissed suggestions that Mohamed Salah is "unplayable", but says that he is delighted with the Egyptian forward's current form.

The 25-year-old has already started to pay off his club-record transfer fee by netting 10 goals and setting up two more in 13 Premier League appearances this term.

Salah has earned praise from opposition players and managers alike, though Klopp was quick to play down the notion that the former Roma ace is currently impossible to defend against.

"No-one is unplayable," he told reporters. "But he is really good so that's good for us. Especially now for us he had a fantastic game against Chelsea. It was really difficult to defend him."

Luis Suarez, who departed for Barcelona in 2014, was the last Liverpool player to net more than 14 goals for the club in a single season.
