Liverpool ready to offload Mario Balotelli?

A report claims that Trabzonspor have joined three other Turkish sides in showing an interest in Liverpool outcast Mario Balotelli.

Liverpool are reportedly ready to take a big hit on the £16m they splashed out on Mario Balotelli by offloading him this summer.

The Italy international struggled for form in his maiden campaign on Merseyside, scoring four goals for the Reds in all competitions.

According to The Sun, Trabzonspor have joined fellow Turkish clubs Galatasaray, Besiktas and Fenerbahce in showing an interest in the Liverpool outcast, and Brendan Rodgers is now ready to cash in.

However, the same report suggests that the Super Lig side are only willing to sign Balotelli on the cheap, meaning that the Anfield club will make a big loss on the cash they handed over to AC Milan last year.

Liverpool have already brought in a couple of new forwards this summer, with Roberto Firmino and Danny Ings joining from Hoffenheim and Burnley respectively.
