Manchester City are reportedly interested in re-signing Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane.
The 27-year-old is already attracting interest from Liverpool after impressing during the opening three months of the Bundesliga season.
Germany international Sane, who has started all 11 league matches, has scored eight goals and six assists in the top flight this term.
Liverpool have reportedly identified Sane as a possible replacement for Mohamed Salah, whose long-term future appears to be in doubt.
Salah was heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in the summer, and while Liverpool fought hard to keep their star man, he is expected to be the subject of further interest in 2024.

According to Bild journalist Christian Falk, Liverpool could be joined in the race by their Premier League rivals Man City.
Last season's Champions League winners are considering whether to launch a move to re-sign Sane at the end of the current season.
The attacker, who joined Man City from Schalke 04 in 2016, spent four years with the Citizens, scoring 39 goals and providing 46 assists.
During his time with the English club, Sane won several honours, including two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and an EFL Cup.

After joining Bayern in a £55m deal in 2020, Sane has gone on to feature in 151 games, registering 47 goals and 44 assists.
Amid the uncertainty surrounding Sane's future, Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund is expected to open negotiations over a new contract after the international break.
However, with less than two years remaining on Sane's deal, a failure to agree an extension could force Bayern to consider a sale next summer.
Sane, who has earned 57 international caps, is currently with the Germany squad preparing for their upcoming friendlies against Turkey and Austria.
