Brendan Rodgers unsure of January transfers

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers admits that he is unsure whether the club will sign any new players during the January transfer window.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted that he is unsure whether the club will do any business during the January transfer window.

The Reds, who are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table, are yet to bring in any new players to Anfield this month.

Despite being eager to strengthen his side, Rodgers insists that he is not keen on signing anyone for the sake of it before deadline day.

"We need to bring in players that will affect our starting eleven," BBC Sport quotes Rodgers as saying. "If we can't, then we won't be doing anything."

Liverpool continue their Premier League campaign on Tuesday when they entertain local rivals Everton.
