Manchester City draw Paris Saint-Germain in Champions League quarter-finals

Manchester City draw Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, while Barcelona will take on La Liga title challengers Atletico Madrid.

Manchester City will have to overcome Paris Saint-Germain over two legs in order to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Manuel Pellegrini's side have been drawn the French champions in the quarter-finals during a UEFA ceremony in Nyon.

The two-time Premier League champions are the only English team remaining in the elite competition after they sealed a 3-1 aggregate win over Dynamo Kiev in the last-16 stage.

PSG have already ousted English opposition in the Champions League this season as they overcame Chelsea 4-3 on aggregate in the previous round.

Meanwhile, Barcelona and fierce rivals Real Madrid avoided one another but the reigning La Liga champions will face fellow title challengers Atletico Madrid in the final eight.

Real will take on German outfit Wolfsburg, while Bayern Munich, who came from 2-0 down to seal a dramatic extra-time 6-4 victory over Juventus on Wednesday night, will face Benfica in the next round.

The quarter-final first legs will be played on April 5 and 6, with the return fixtures scheduled for April 12 and 13.
