Paris Saint-Germain are the frontrunners to sign Napoli's in-demand centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly, according to a report.
Napoli boss Genaro Gattuso hinted at the weekend that the club may have to cash in on the Senegal international to help balance the books.
Koulibaly has regularly been linked with a move away from the Stadio San Paolo, but the Italian side's high asking price has often put suitors off making a bid.
However, the Daily Mail suggests that PSG have been encouraged by Gattuso's comments and are expected to step forward with a bid in the region of £72m.
Manchester City were also in the running to sign the 29-year-old, as were rivals Manchester United at one point, but the report indicates that their interest has dwindled.
The Citizens instead turned their focus to Benfica's Ruben Dias, with a deal now on the verge of being finalised.
