Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho makes six changes and hands Luke Shaw a start for tonight's Champions League game with CSKA Moscow.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has made six changes and handed Luke Shaw a start in tonight's Champions League game with CSKA Moscow.

Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata return to the starting XI to partner Romelu Lukaku up front as Mourinho looks to seal progression to the last-16 stage of the competition tonight.

Just a point will confirm the Red Devils as Group A champions, while an incredible seven-goal defeat is the eventuality that would see them exit the competition.

Paul Pogba will serve a three-game domestic ban for seeing red during the 3-1 win at Arsenal over the weekend but is cleared to start in the middle of the park tonight alongside the returning Ander Herrera and Daley Blind.

Shaw makes his first appearance for United since the end of October on the left of a back four alongside Antonio Valencia, Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof, while Sergio Romero replaces David de Gea between the sticks ahead of Sunday's vital Manchester derby.

Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial and Ashley Young start the game among the substitutes, with Marcos Rojo also being rested and Nemanja Matic missing out with a muscular problem.

As for the hosts, manager Viktor Goncharenko makes two enforced changes following his side's 6-0 demolition of Tosno in the Russian Premier League last Friday.

Fyodor Chalov comes into the starting XI alongside Brazilian striker Vitinho and Alan Dzagoev in an expected 4-3-3 formation.

Konstantin Kuchaev is also in tonight as partner for Alexsandr Golovin and Kirill Nababkin in the middle of the field, with Bibras Natcho and Pontus Wernbloom both missing out through suspension.

The backline of Mario Fernandes, Vasili Berezutski, Viktor Vasin and Sergei Ignashevich is unchanged ahead of Igor Akinfeev between the posts.

Manchester United: Romero; Valencia, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw; Herrera, Blind, Pogba; Mata, Lukaku, Rashford
Subs: Perteira, Darmian, Tuanzebe, Young, McTominay, Lingard, Martial
