Paul Pogba hits back at claims suggesting that he was faking an injury in order to force a move away from Manchester United in January.

Paul Pogba has hit back at claims suggesting that he was faking an injury in order to force a move away from Manchester United in January.

The Frenchman has not played for United since late September due to a foot injury sustained against Southampton.

However, reports have suggested that Pogba is in fact not injured at all but rather refusing to play for United as part of an attempt to force a move to Real Madrid over the January window.

In response, Pogba took to Instagram to show photos of his ankle still in supportive strapping alongside a picture of him with an unimpressed look on his face, which could be a response to the recently-circulated rumours.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently confirmed that Pogba should return within a few weeks, with the Manchester derby on December 7 viewed as the earliest potential date for when he could come back.
