Report: Manchester United lead Sofiane Feghouli race

A report claims that Manchester United are the favourites to sign Valencia's 26-year-old attacker Sofiane Feghouli on a free transfer this summer.

Manchester United are reportedly the favourites to sign Valencia attacker Sofiane Feghouli on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The Algerian international has been at Valencia since 2010 and is fast closing on 150 La Liga appearances for the former Spanish champions.

The 26-year-old will be out of contract this summer, however, and it is understood that talks over a fresh deal have stalled.

Liverpool and Chelsea have both previously been linked with a move for the 35-time Algerian international, but according to Fichajes.net, Man United are confident of bringing the attacker to Old Trafford.

Valencia are said to be unprepared to meet Feghouli's current wage demands.
