Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland is reportedly Manchester United's number one target for the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils are believed to be looking to strengthen in four positions ahead of next season, with the most pressing issue being a prolific goalscorer.
John Murtough and Darren Fletcher were last week appointed as football director and technical director respectively as part of a revamp of United's transfer policy.
The two men, plus boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, are set to meet this week to put plans in place ahead of the window opening in June.
According to the Manchester Evening News, a move for Haaland - whom Solskjaer worked with at Molde - is on the agenda.
Haaland was a target for United in January 2020 before opting for Dortmund, where he has gone on to score 47 goals in 48 appearances.
The Norway international is valued beyond the £100m mark and is also a reported target for Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Chelsea and Juventus.
