Millwall are reportedly planning to make a move for Reading defender Ian Harte in January.
The 35-year-old has not played for the Royals since September 16 and is understood to be surplus to requirements at the Madejski Stadium.
Harte's contract is due to expire at the end of the season but, according to The Mirror, Reading boss Brian McDermott has told Millwall counterpart Kenny Jackett that he is willing to allow the player to move on when the transfer window reopens.
Harte, who has been capped 63 times at senior international level, made 32 Championship appearances for Reading last season.
