Nashville SC will be looking to continue their fine start to the 2023 Major League Soccer season when they play host to Atlanta United on Saturday evening.
On the other hand, the away side make the trip to Geodis Park this weekend aiming to bounce back from a disappointing cup exit in midweek.
We say: Nashville SC 1-0 Atlanta United
Nashville have been poor in front of goal this term, but they currently boast the best defensive record in MLS. We are backing the hosts to narrowly edge their visitors and come away with all three points at the end of the 90 minutes.

Having both secured hard-fought domestic cup victories in midweek, Columbus Crew and Inter Miami lock horns at Lower.com Field in the early hours of Sunday.
The home side set out to return to winning ways in MLS, while their visitors will be looking to avoid being on the receiving end of a seventh consecutive league defeat.
We say: Columbus Crew 2-0 Inter Miami
Inter Miami are one of only two teams in MLS yet to find the back of the net on the road this term, and we expect that trend to continue here. We are also backing Columbus Crew to cruise to a relatively comfortable victory in the end.

DC United vs. Charlotte FC (Sunday, 12.30am)

Two in-form teams will be looking to pick up where they left off last time out as DC United and Charlotte FC go head-to-head at Audi Field on Sunday.
The home side are seeking to record a fourth straight win across all competitions, while their visitors target win number three on the bounce.
We say: DC United 1-1 Charlotte FC
Both teams have turned a corner in recent weeks, so we expect an open and end-to-end affair. That said, we can also see the sides cancelling each other out and settling for a point apiece come the sound of the final whistle.

New England vs. Cincinnati (Sunday, 12.30am)

The top two in the Eastern Conference of the 2023 Major League Soccer season will do battle at the Gillette Stadium on Sunday as New England Revolution entertain the challenge of FC Cincinnati.
The teams are currently separated only on goal difference after the first nine matches, and this weekend's clash promises to be an enthralling affair.
We say: New England Revolution 2-1 FC Cincinnati
There is little to separate the teams heading into this weekend's clash which could easily swing either way. However, we just about fancy New England Revolution to make home advantage count and emerge triumphant from what should be a cracking contest.

Orlando City vs. LA Galaxy (Sunday, 12.30am)

Fresh off the back or picking up their first win of the season, Los Angeles Galaxy visit the Exploria Stadium to square off against Orlando City in the MLS on Saturday.
Oscar Pareja's men, on the other hand, head into the weekend on a run of three consecutive home defeats and will be looking to end this poor run.
We say: Orlando City 1-2 Los Angeles Galaxy
Los Angeles turned in a solid all-round performance against Austin and will head into the weekend with renewed confidence. While the Galaxy have struggled for results on the road, Orlando City's home form is nothing to write home about and we are backing them to see off the floundering hosts.

Toronto vs. NY City (Sunday, 12.30am)

New York City FC will make the short trip up north to BMO Field this Saturday when they battle Toronto on matchday 10 of the Major League Soccer campaign.
The Reds' seven-match unbeaten run ended last weekend when they lost 4-2 to the Philadelphia Union, while New York have points in four straight MLS affairs after defeating Dallas 3-1.
We say: Toronto 2-1 New York City FC
Sean Johnson has been an elite shot-stopper in this league for quite some time and has proven he can steal a game on his own.
Given the Reds' significant injury concerns, we expect the ex-NYCFC keeper to take his game to a level we have come to expect this weekend, while getting his new team back in the win column.

Austin vs. Earthquakes (Sunday, 1.30am)

With the disappointment from their midweek US Open Cup exit still lingering in the air, San Jose Earthquakes visit the Q2 Stadium to face Austin FC in MLS on Saturday.
Having failed to win any of their last five outings, Josh Wolff's side will head into the weekend looking to arrest their slump and get their campaign up and running.
We say: Austin FC 2-1 San Jose Earthquakes
While San Jose Earthquakes will be looking to restore some pride following their cup exit, they face an Austin side who have been near impenetrable on home turf. Austin's home advantage gives them a slight edge heading into the weekend and we are backing them to end their winless run against the Quakes.

Chicago Fire vs. NY Red Bulls (Sunday, 1.30am)
© Reuters
Fresh off the back of reaching the US Open Cup fourth round, Chicago Fire return to action in the MLS on Saturday when they play host to New York Red Bulls at Soldier Field.
The Red Bulls have endured a slow start to the new campaign and will head into the weekend looking to end their run of five straight matches without a win.
We say: Chicago Fire 1-0 New York Red Bulls
Chicago Fire head into the weekend fresh off the back of a resounding cup victory and will be looking to build on that result. New York Red Bulls have struggled to get going, particularly on the road, where they are yet to pick up a win this season. We predict a cagey affair at Soldier Field, with the holds claiming a slender victory to heap more misery on the Red Bulls.

Kansas vs. Montreal (Sunday, 1.30am)
© Reuters
In a matchup of the bottom two teams in Major League Soccer, Sporting Kansas City play host to CF Montreal at Children's Mercy Park in search of their first regular season victory on Saturday.
KC failed to recover from a first-half deficit last weekend, losing their third straight game of the competition 3-0 at the New England Revolution, while Montreal captured their first home victory of the season, 2-0 versus the New York Red Bulls.
We say: Sporting Kansas City 2-1 CF Montreal
Both teams are in similar positions at the moment, but as bad as SKC have looked at times this year, they have still managed to keep their games close without completely self-destructing, and the same cannot be said about Montreal, particularly on the road.

St Louis City vs. Portland (Sunday, 1.30am)
© Reuters
St Louis City will end the month of April by welcoming the Portland Timbers to CityPark on Saturday in the second meeting of the MLS campaign between both sides.
Heading into matchday 10, St Louis are tied with the Seattle Sounders for first in the Western Conference, drawing the Colorado Rapids 1-1 last Saturday, while the Timbers lost another close one, 2-1, at FC Cincinnati.
We say: St Louis City 1-0 Portland Timbers
The Timbers' core has been relatively intact for the most part this year, but they have become somewhat predictable and are missing that killer instinct.
Being without an impactful player like Klauss will be a challenge for the home team. However, St Louis have shown they do not need one individual to get them three points, and that depth should carry them through without their key Brazilian.

Salt Lake vs. Seattle (Sunday, 2.30am)
© Reuters
The Seattle Sounders will pay their first visit of the MLS campaign to America First Field on Saturday in search of their first regular season away victory versus Real Salt Lake since 2011.
These teams are separated by 10 points in the Western Conference table at the moment after RSL defeated the San Jose Earthquakes 3-1 last weekend, putting them in the final playoff position, while the Rave Green are tied with St Louis City for first, defeating Minnesota United 1-0 in their previous league game.
We say: Real Salt Lake 1-2 Seattle Sounders
Every streak has to end at some point, and as much as the Sounders have struggled with the altitude in Utah, this is a different group than a year ago, and Schemtzer is resourceful enough to come up with a tactical approach that fits the players available.
RSL are much sharper at home than on the road, but consistency has been a problem, and we expect them to have difficulties finding openings against a well-drilled and organised Rave Green backline.

Vancouver vs. Colorado (Sunday, 3.30am)
© Reuters
The Colorado Rapids can end a lengthy winless run at BC Place Stadium on Saturday when they square off with the Vancouver Whitecaps on matchday 10 of the MLS campaign.
It has been over four years since the Burgundy Boys won a regular-season contest in Vancouver, defeating the Whitecaps 1-0 on Canada Day 2018.
We say: Vancouver Whitecaps 2-0 Colorado Rapids
Takaoka was one of the top keepers in the J1 League last season, and he has been splendid of late domestically, giving the Caps a chance to earn several points, which could pay dividends as the campaign rolls along.
The Rapids are showing more attacking intent, but it remains the same old story of who is that number nine that can bury their chances, and it seems unlikely that problem will be solved come Saturday.
