Newcastle United face a tough task at the Sports Direct Arena this evening as they welcome Bordeaux for their Europa League contest.
The Magpies have yet to secure three points in the group stage following their 0-0 draw with Maritimo in their last European outing, while their Ligue 1 opponents are unbeaten in 17 matches.
Alan Pardew is expected to start with Papiss Cisse up front, with Hatem Ben Arfa providing service from the wing. However, Yohan Cabaye is likely to be ruled out as the Frenchman continues to recover from a mouth infection.
Meanwhile, the home side are struggling with a number of injuries, which means that Yoan Gouffran and Jussie are likely to lead the line for the French outfit.
