Fawaz Al-Hasawi: 'I want Billy Davies to stay for at least five years'

Nottingham Forest chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi would like Billy Davies to manage the club for at least the next five years.

Nottingham Forest chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi has claimed that he wants manager Billy Davies to remain at the club for at least the next five years.

Al-Hasawi believes that the club's players have an important connection with Davies, who started his second spell as Forest manager in February 2013.

"I would like Billy to stay at my club for more than three, four, five years because he's a good manager, he has a good connection with the players," Al-Hasawi told journalists at a press conference.

"We are working all together like one team and this is very important. We have a very close relationship. He is more than a friend now. On a daily basis if not meeting we are talking on the phone about the team and everything."

Forest are currently fifth in the Championship.
