Rayo Vallecano have announced the signing of German winger Patrick Ebert on a two-year deal from Russian side Spartak Moscow.
The 28-year-old has previous experience of La Liga, having thrived during a spell with Real Valladolid between 2012 and 2014.
The midfielder left Spain under a cloud after it has claimed that he had simply walked away from the club to join Spartak, but Valladolid's legal case was eventually dropped.
Ebert made 23 league appearances for Spartak during the 2014-15 campaign, but has now returned to Spain's top flight.
The attacker has become Rayo's sixth summer signing.
