Luis Figo: Barcelona "will dominate" El Clasico

Former Barcelona and Real Madrid winger Luis Figo tips Gerardo Martino's side to emerge victorious from Saturday's El Clasico.

Former Barcelona and Real Madrid winger Luis Figo expects the former to dominate in Saturday's El Clasico due to the game being at Camp Nou.

Madrid travel to the La Liga leaders after recording back-to-back wins, but Figo still expects Gerardo Martino's side to be the favourites.

"Barca will dominate because they are playing at home and for the way that they play," he told Grada360.

"Madrid I hope will find that balance that will allow them to move from defence to attack well, and so that they can win. Anything can happen because concentration levels are at a higher level. Normally those who are not doing as well will respond in that sense because they cannot afford to go wrong; so in this case, Madrid. We'll see.

"I think that in the Clasico it is not always the better team that is assured of victory."

Victory for Madrid would see Carlo Ancelotti's side go level on points with their fierce rivals.
