La Liga club-by-club transfer latest: June 26

Sports Mole takes a look at the recent transfer rumours from Spain's top flight.

The World Cup might be stealing the limelight at the moment, but that has not stopped all 20 La Liga clubs attempting to improve their squads for the coming season.

Here, Sports Mole has rounded up all the latest rumours and done deals from Spain's top flight.

Almeria

Almeria have already lost Aleix Vidal to Sevilla this summer, with the 24-year-old moving to the Estadio Ramon last week.

As part of the deal, however, Almeria managed to sign goalkeeper Julian Cuesta on a three-year contract. Meanwhile, 21-year-old midfielder Ivan Sanchez has joined from Atletico Madrid's reserve side.

Ximo Navarro has also recently joined from Mallorca, but it is understood that Almeria are being frustrated in their attempts to sign a number of targets, including Barcelona B defender Sergi Gomez and 24-year-old forward Kike Garcia, who scored 23 league goals for Real Murcia last season.

Mallorca striker Tomer Hemed is also a reported target.

Athletic Bilbao

Ander Herrera had reportedly completed a medical with Manchester United on Wednesday ahead of £29m move to Old Trafford, but Bilbao have today confirmed that they have rejected the offer from United.

Roberto Torres remains a firm target for the club, but no movement has been apparent over the last week. There has been a concrete signing, however, with Borja Viguera joining in an £800,000 move from Alaves.

Another surprise name in the running is Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal, who is reportedly keen on leaving the Premier League club this summer with a view to returning to La Liga.

French centre-back Aymeric Laporte is widely regarded as one of the best young defenders in European football and has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona, but the player's release clause has recently been increased to £34m.

In terms of outgoings, Gaizka Toquero has been strongly linked with a loan move to Elche.

Atletico Madrid

Diego Costa has still not officially completed his move to Chelsea, but the 25-year-old is almost certain to move to Stamford Bridge after the World Cup.

That said, Atletico president Enrique Cerezo has recently insisted that there is currently no agreement between the two clubs.

Talk of Filipe Luis following Costa has also gathered pace, while Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has recently revealed that Thibaut Courtois will return to his parent club following the World Cup.

Koke, meanwhile, continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona, who will reportedly offer Cristian Tello to the La Liga champions as part of the deal.

Diego Godin, however, has insisted that his future is with Atletico despite talk of a move.

Oliver Torres, meanwhile, has been linked with a loan move to Porto.

In terms of incomings, at least one new striker is expected to arrive, with Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku and Manchester City's Alvaro Negredo both linked with the Vicente Calderon.

Barcelona's Alexis Sanchez is also a surprise name on the list.

Jose Sosa is unlikely to join on a permanent deal from Metalist Kharkiv, however, with Atletico reportedly unprepared to pay the £8m required.

Barcelona

Ivan Rakitic recently signed a five-year deal with Barcelona after leaving Sevilla, while the Croatian has been joined by Real Sociedad goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, who officially completed his move to the Camp Nou on Wednesday.

It is understood that the club have stepped up their interest in Liverpool forward Luis Suarez and could offer Alex Sanchez as bait in the deal.

Pedro looks likely to stay despite speculation of a move, but Sanchez continues to be linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United and Liverpool both believed to be in the running. Alex Song, meanwhile, has also been linked with a move to Chelsea.

Xavi's future also remains uncertain and it is widely expected that the experienced midfielder will leave for Qatar this summer.

Talk of Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain making the move to Barca has also been mentioned in various quarters, with the Argentine revealing that he is "flattered" by the link.

Barca have reportedly ended their interest in Porto's Eliaquim Mangala, but are confident of securing a deal for Valencia's Jeremy Mathieu.

Bayern Munich's Toni Kroos has also emerged as a reported target for head coach Luis Enrique.

Former Chelsea defender Ashley Cole has also been linked with a move, while Barca are reportedly one of 20 clubs interested in Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa.

Jonathan dos Santos is expected to leave this summer, meanwhile, with Elche and Villarreal both linked with the midfielder.

Celta Vigo

Celta recently announced that that they have signed Gustavo Cabral on a permanent deal after the Argentine spent the last two seasons on loan in Vigo.

Meanwhile, Bosnian World Cup midfielder Muhamed Besic, who plays for Hungarian side Ferencvarosi TC, is another name believed to be in the picture.

As mentioned in the last edition of this update, Rafinha has returned to parent club Barcelona following an impressive loan spell with Celta last term.

There has been an incoming, however, with Joaquin Larrivey, who scored 12 times in La Liga last season, joining on a free transfer from Rayo Vallecano.

Celta are also reportedly interested in Valenciennes defender Arthur Masuaku, while Pablo Hernandez is believed to be close to joining Celta from Chilean side O'Higgins.

Cordoba

Cordoba secured their spot in La Liga for the 2014-15 campaign after beating Las Palmas on away goals in the Segunda playoffs on Sunday.

It has been speculated that the club could approach Sevilla in an attempt to secure some top-flight experience on loan.

Highly-rated defender Fran Cruz, meanwhile, is expected to leave this summer.

Next season will be the first time Cordoba have been in Spain's top flight since 1972.

Deportivo La Coruna

Former Spanish international Carlos Marchena played a key role in helping Deportivo win promotion back to La Liga, but the 34-year-old's future remains unclear due to a contract issue.

In terms of incomings, Deportivo have been linked with a move for Real Valladolid defender Antonio Rukavina, but talk of a move has cooled over the last week or so.

Jose Carlos, meanwhile, has joined on a free transfer from Rayo Vallecano.

Experienced defender Manuel Pablo, who has made 438 appearances for Deportivo since joining from Las Palmas in 1998, is expected to remain with the club for at least one more season after reportedly signing a new one-year deal.

Eibar

Like fellow newly-promoted side Deportivo, Eibar have lost players from last season with Alain Eizmendi, Gilvan Gomes, Dani Garcia, Yuri Berchiche, Jose Morales and Jota returning to their parent clubs this summer following loan spells.

Eibar have recently completed their first signing of the summer, however, with midfielder Javi Lara joining from Ponferradina, while Toquero is expected to arrive on loan from Athletic Bilbao.

Elche

Elche made their first permanent signing on Wednesday, when it was announced that Faycal Fajr had joined from French side Caen.

Talk of a permanent move for Sevilla's Manu del Moral, who spent last season on loan with Elche, has gathered pace, however, with the striker admitting that he does not expect to represent his parent club next season.

Carlos Sanchez's performances in the early stages of Colombia's World Cup campaign, meanwhile, have reportedly attracted a host of interest.

Alberto Rivera has departed following the expiration of his contract, but highly-rated youngster Cristian Herrera has signed a new two-year deal with the club.

Elche are also believed to be interested in taking Thomas Partey on loan from Atletico and Jonathan dos Santos on loan from Barcelona.

Espanyol

Transfer business has already been completed this summer, with Anaitz Arbilla joining the Barcelona-based side on a free from Rayo Vallecano.

Experienced midfielder Salva Sevilla has also joined on a free transfer from Real Betis.

In terms of outgoings, goalkeeper Kiko Casilla is highly-rated in La Liga, with Real Sociedad reportedly preparing a move for the 27-year-old.

Uruguay forward Christian Stuani has also recently admitted that he could leave the club following the completion of the World Cup.

The agent of Mexican centre-back Hector Moreno has revealed that his client will leave the club this summer and a strong showing at this summer's World Cup has reportedly opened up a long list of suitors.

Pizzi, meanwhile, who spent last season on loan from Benfica, has revealed that he will not return to the La Liga club for the 2014-15 campaign.

Getafe

First-choice goalkeeper Moya has departed for Atletico Madrid this summer, leaving the capital outfit in the market for a new stopper this summer.

Striking re-enforcements are also a priority, with Sevilla forward Raul Rusescu, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Benfica, strongly linked with a move.

Jaime Gavilan has moved on to Levante, meanwhile, with the 29-year-old signing an initial one-year deal with the Valencia-based side.

Getafe will also reportedly battle Almeria for the services of Real Murcia striker Kike.

Granada

Highly-rated left-back Siqueira has moved to Atletico this summer, with French centre-back Jean-Sylvain Babin joining from Alcorcon as his replacement.

Argentine attacker Diego Buonanotte is another that has expressed a desire to leave, with Santos Laguna strongly linked with a move for the midfielder, but as it stands, the midfielder remains contracted to Granada.

There are also doubts over the future of right-back Allan Nyom, who impressed for Cameroon at the World Cup.

Brayan Angulo has been linked with a move to Bulgarian side Ludogorets, but there has been good news on the youth front, with highly-rated midfielder Hector Yuste signing a new two-year contract extension with the Spanish club.

In terms of incomings, the latest name in the picture is 20-year-old Iraqi international Ali Adnan, who is currently contracted to Turkish side Caykur Rizespor.

Levante

New boss Jose Luis Mendilibar's toughest task this summer will be to fight off interest in Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who is now regarded as one of the best stoppers in European football.

A brilliant performance in Costa Rica's sensational World Cup campaign has not made his task any easier, with a number of clubs monitoring proceedings.

Transfer business has already been completed, however, with Jaime Gavilan joining from Getafe on an initial one-year deal, with the option of two additional years.

Pedro Rios, however, has been told that he is surplus to requirements and is widely expected to leave the Valencia-based side this summer.

Malaga

A move for Cardiff City midfielder Gary Medel, who joined the Welsh side from Sevilla last summer, has been mentioned, while the Spanish club are also reportedly in the race for Real Betis striker Ruben Castro.

Experienced midfielder Eliseu, meanwhile, has recently signed a new one-year deal.

A permanent move for Nordin Amrabat, who spent last season on loan from Galatasaray, is reportedly unlikely, however, with his Turkish club keen on keeping the attacker.

Liverpool's Luis Alberto, however, is reportedly close to joining the club on loan.

In terms of outgoings, Argentine goalkeeper Willy Caballero will reportedly join Manchester City after the two clubs agreed a fee for the 32-year-old.

Rayo Vallecano

An earlier report claimed that Rayo Vallecano had just seven first-team players tied down for the new season, but Paco Jemez has been busy over the last few weeks.

Antonio Amaya and Derek Boateng have arrived from Real Betis and Fulham respectively, while Real Madrid Castilla right-back Quini has also joined the capital outfit.

Manucho, meanwhile, has joined on a free transfer from Real Valladolid, while Rayo are also believed to be interested in Chelsea's Gael Kakuta.

Two more players arrived last week, with Jorge Morcillo joining from Recreativo de Huelva on a three-year deal and Jozabed Sanchez from Real Jaen.

Tito has also signed a new deal with the capital outfit.

Leading scorer from last season Joaquin Larrivey, however, has moved on to Celta Vigo, while Jose Carlos has joined Deportivo La Coruna on a free transfer.

Real Madrid

Head coach Carlo Ancelotti has said that there will be no business at the Bernabeu until after the World Cup.

Ancelotti also recently admitted that he is not looking to strengthen his attack this summer, but talk of a move for Real Sociedad's Antoine Griezmann has gathered pace, as has discussion of a move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani.

Strong reports of a move for Monaco forward Radamel Falcao have also emerged.

Madrid are also expected to battle Barcelona for Liverpool's Luis Suarez, while the capital outfit are reportedly preparing to offer right-back Dani Carvajal a new long-term deal.

The surprise name to emerge is Liverpool's Raheem Sterling, who impressed for England at this summer's World Cup despite their early elimination from the tournament.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan's Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic is another name in the picture, alongside Real Sociedad's Ruben Pardo.

In terms of outgoings, Sami Khedira has been linked with both Manchester United and Chelsea, while Marcelo has also been linked with a move to the Premier League.

Real Sociedad

Antoine Griezmann, who scored 20 times last season, continues to be linked with a host of European clubs, but the Frenchman has recently hinted that he could sign a new deal with the Basque club.

Goalkeeper Bravo, however, has officially departed the club for Barcelona, with Sociedad reportedly interested in signing Valencia's Vicente Guaita as the Chilean's replacement.

Carlos Vela, meanwhile, who had reportedly attracted interest from former club Arsenal, has signed a new four-year deal with the club, with Sociedad purchasing the Mexican's full rights.

Sociedad are also reportedly interested in signing Icelandic striker Alfred Finnbogason from Dutch side Heerenveen as talk of Switzerland international Haris Seferovic leaving the club continues to gather pace.

Sevilla

The form of Sevilla's key players last season gained unwelcome interest, with their skipper Rakitic, as mentioned, joining Barcelona on a five-year deal. As part of the Rakitic deal, Barcelona B midfielder Denis Suarez has moved to Sevilla on a two-year loan.

Spanish international Alberto Moreno, who is a target for Liverpool, now looks likely to remain at the Estadio Ramon, however, with talks reportedly breaking down.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly entered the race for Moreno, but Sevilla president Jose Castro has insisted that the left-back will not leave unless his full release clause is met.

Federico Fazio has also been linked with the Premier League, with Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton all believed to be chasing the Argentine.

Nico Pareja and Daniel Carrico, meanwhile, have joined Sevilla on permanent deals from Spartak Moscow and Reading respectively having spent last season on loan at the Estadio Ramon.

FC Twente midfielder Dusan Tadic has also been linked with the Estadio Ramon, but it is understood that the Spanish side will fail in their attempts to sign Queens Park Rangers' Stephane Mbia, who spent last season on loan with Sevilla, on a permanent deal.

Fulham, meanwhile, have reportedly offered Sevilla the chance to sign experienced Dutch goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

Valencia

Following Peter Lim's successful takeover of the club, Valencia have transfer funds to spend this summer. However, former Los Che centre-back David Albelda has admitted that a lack of solid transfer activity this summer has left him frustrated.

A move for Marseille attacker Mathieu Valbuena is believed to be at an advanced stage, but the Frenchman's form in the early stages of the World Cup has reportedly drawn to the attention of a number of European clubs.

Valencia have also been linked with a surprise move for Chelsea youngster Thorgan Hazard, who is the brother of Eden Hazard.

Eduardo Vargas, who spent last season on loan with Valencia, is reportedly available for £9m this summer, but it is currently unclear whether the Spanish club will make a move.

In terms of outgoings, controversial midfielder Ever Banega has been strongly linked with a departure, while French centre-back Mathieu is reportedly wanted by Barcelona.

Jonathan Viera, meanwhile, who spent last season with Rayo Vallecano, will reportedly be made available on a free transfer this summer.

Villarreal

It is understood that the club are close to signing Augusto Fernandez from Celta Vigo, while a move for Real Valladolid defender Rukavina has also been mentioned. The Yellow Submarine have also been linked with a move for outgoing Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata.

Giovani dos Santos proved key for Villarreal last season, with his form also aiding talk of a move, but the Mexican, along with the likes of Bruno and Cani, seem unlikely to leave despite interest, with club CEO Fernando Roig Nogueroles recently claiming that the club are confident of keeping their key players this summer.

Jeremy Perbet has echoed the thoughts of Nogueroles by revealing that he wants to remain with the Yellow Submarine this summer.

Villarreal had reportedly hoped to take Oliver Torres on loan from Atletico Madrid once more, but the Spaniard is believed to be close to joining Porto on loan.
