Southampton's Ryan Bertrand delighted to get back on track

Southampton defender Ryan Bertrand admits that he is elated with his side as back-to-back wins propel them back into the top four of the Premier League.

Southampton defender Ryan Bertrand has revealed that he is delighted that his side have got their season back on track with back-to-back wins in the Premier League.

The Saints backed up their 3-0 win over Everton last week with a 3-1 triumph against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park to move them back into the top four in the Premier League, after a difficult run of results saw them drop out at the start of the month.

Bertrand told the club's official website: "I'm very happy, first and foremost with the win. It's obviously good to get the back-to-back wins against good opposition.

"It's a difficult place to come, the boys have showed fantastic professionalism in the way they went about the job. They were extremely focused and it has put us right back on track.

"It means we can go into the next couple of games with our heads held high and really enjoy it."
