Ronald Koeman has revealed that he left midfielder Victor Wanyama out of Southampton's visit of Norwich City because of his physical and mental state.
The Kenyan, who missed Thursday's Europa League exit at Midtjylland with a stomach infection, has been heavily linked with a late switch to Tottenham Hotspur after reportedly asking permission to leave the Saints.
The 24-year-old was expected to return for the visit of Norwich, but Koeman claims that the former Celtic man is mentally unfit for duty this afternoon.
