Jermaine Jenas to make surprise comeback for Aston Villa?

Jermaine Jenas could reportedly make an unexpected comeback for Aston Villa, despite initially being ruled out for the rest of the season with an Achilles injury.

Aston Villa on-loan midfielder Jermaine Jenas is reportedly closing in on a shock return to action from an Achilles injury.

The 29-year-old, who returned to parent club Tottenham Hotspur after suffering the injury blow in December, was originally expected to miss the rest of the season following surgery.

It now appears that Villa boss Alex McLeish is confident that Jenas could make a surprise comeback to the side for the final stretch of the season, according to the Express.

Meanwhile, Charles N'Zogbia could recover from his knee injury to feature for the Villains against Liverpool on Saturday.
