Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish insists that he will make significant changes to his squad at the end of the season.

Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish has insisted that he will make significant changes to his squad at the end of the season.

Villa have not enjoyed the best of seasons under their new management, and are currently languishing in 15th spot in the Premier League table.

However, McLeish has vowed to make changes in the summer, with Emile Heskey amongst those likely to leave.

"We will definitely be turning things around. Some players inevitably leave and some will come. I am looking to try and add a few experienced players to the squad," McLeish told reporters.

Villa travel to Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.
