Gary Lineker tips Glenn Hoddle to return to Tottenham Hotspur hotseat

Gary Lineker believes that Glenn Hoddle should replace Andre Villas-Boas as Tottenham Hotspur head coach.

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Gary Lineker believes that Glenn Hoddle should be given the chance to take charge at White Hart Lane following Andre Villas-Boas's dismissal.

The North London outfit confirmed this morning that Villas-Boas has left the club after yesterday's 5-0 defeat to Liverpool.

Following the news, Lineker wrote on Twitter: "Would love to see Glenn Hoddle given another chance at this level. Has a brilliant football mind."

Hoddle spent two years in charge of Spurs before leaving in 2003.
