Hugo Lloris vows to work hard in order to force his way into the Tottenham Hotspur first team.

Hugo Lloris has vowed to work hard in order to force his way into the Tottenham Hotspur first team.

Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas recently suggested that the goalkeeper, who signed from Lyon for around £8m on deadline day, will be behind veteran Brad Friedel in the pecking order at White Hart Lane.

"I will join Tottenham calmly, discovering a new world, another league," said Lloris. "I have lots of things to prove there. I will have to work hard."

Tottenham resume their Premier League duties following the international break on Sunday when they travel to Reading.
