Michael Dawson's move from Tottenham Hotspur to QPR is understood to have hit a snag.

Michael Dawson's transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Queens Park Rangers is reportedly in doubt.

The R's had been expected to sign the defender for around £9m after new Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas made it clear that he was not part of his plans.

However, the move could now be off following a disagreement between the two parties, according to the Daily Mail.

Stoke City and Sunderland are thought to have been alerted to the latest development and could be ready to hijack any deal.
