Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has "no news" on Christian Eriksen's contract situation with the Premier League club.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has said that he has "no news" on Christian Eriksen's contract situation with the Premier League club.

Eriksen scored his fourth Premier League goal of the 2018-19 campaign in Tottenham's 3-0 win over Cardiff City on New Year's Day.

The attacker is enjoying another impressive season with Spurs, having scored six times and registered nine assists in his 25 matches in all competitions this term.

Eriksen will see his contract with the London outfit expire at the end of next season, however, and a number of clubs will be closely monitoring developments.

Pochettino is not overly concerned by a lack of movement when it comes to the 26-year-old, though.

"I don't have news," Pochettino told reporters. "The phrase is, 'No news is good news'. In that case, I don't know. No news is good news."

Eriksen joined Tottenham from Dutch giants Ajax in the summer of 2013.
